Flowers are one of the main and older art forms one could say, as they were captured for decorative purposes in paintings since the 17th century and even earlier on pottery. People use symbolism all the time and the language of flowers is a means of communication through the use of them. Interest in floriography was extremely popular in Victorian England and the United States during the 19th century. Gifts of floral arrangements were used to send a coded message, allowing a person to express feelings which could not be spoken aloud in Victorian society. However, in the digital era that we are living in, even though feelings can be spoken aloud, it seems that in many occasions, communication between humans is getting difficult to grow and flourish in a healthy way. As the use of machines automates not only our physical moves as well as our thoughts and behavior, emotions seem to freeze inside of us and somehow lose their priority for expression.
