Dark Romanticism

Drawing inspiration from the Dark Romanticism movement, this work delves into the complexities of vanity, mystery and ghosts that haunt the human spirit, exploring the grotesque and melancholic aspects of existence within the limits of fantasy and rationality. Each visual narrative reflects upon the impersonal, self-destruction and loneliness that plagues the modern world, while investigating the psychological effects of guilt and delinquency. Through these explorations of the chaotic evolution of Man as a social phenomenon I seek to have a deeper understanding of the human 'experience'.
